Vision: Promote the Icelandic Horse ensure the continued purity of the breed in New Zealand
Encourage and support its members with the promotion, use and breeding of the Icelandic horse
Educate the public about the characteristics of the Icelandic horse
Implement the rules and regulation needed to found and keep a stud book in cooperation with FEIF
Cooperate with other national bodies representing the breeding and use of the pure bred Icelandic horse
