… interested and active young people, 18-26 (attention, new age group: 18 – 26) years old, to join the FEIF Committees of Breeding, Sport and Leisure Riding!
The future of the Icelandic Horse world in your hands? FEIF offers committee membership, especially reserved for young people. Appointees have the same voting rights as any other committee member and will serve for up to 2 years. You apply to FEIF directly and do not need to go through any nomination procedure of your national association. More details are in the FEIF Rule Book, section Y1.1.5
The application must be submitted in writing, by submission of
- a CV (curriculum vitae) and
- a motivational letter, and
- the contact details of 2 referees
Ideally, the applicant is already familiar with the work of FEIF, having been at a FEIF event either as a participant, or a volunteer. Successful candidates are expected to attend two international meetings/year, usually held in February and October (expenses are covered). The application should be sent to office@feif.org before 20th Dec 2023. With the approval of the FEIF Board, the FEIF Youthwork Committee will select candidates to join the respective committees in early February 2024.
