Nordic Championships 2026: Teams Confirmed, Programme Released and Tickets Available

Sport

Preparations for the Nordic Championships 2026 at Margaretehof, Everöd, Sweden (4–9 August) are entering their final phase, with several important updates now available for riders and visitors.

The participating nations have confirmed their teams, and the full list of riders and horses representing Denmark, the Faroe Islands, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden has been published.

The organisers have also released the preliminary programme, which is available on the event website and in the HorseDay app. Visitors are encouraged to download the app before the championships to access the latest programme updates, start lists, results and information on riders and horses throughout the event. As always, the programme may be subject to change.

For spectators planning to attend, tickets are available through the official ticket platform, and the organisers encourage visitors to secure their place in advance. Practical visitor information, including travel, accommodation, food, camping, exhibitors and the event venue, is available on the championship website.

The organising committee has also shared practical advice for visitors, recommending that spectators bring their own chairs or blankets, as there are no permanent grandstands at the competition grounds, allowing everyone to enjoy a relaxed atmosphere close to the action. Families will also find a dedicated playground for younger visitors during the championships.

FEIF wishes the organisers every success with the final preparations and looks forward to an exciting week of top-class Icelandic horse sport in Sweden.
