Each year, FEIF honors the Instructor of the Year, recognizing an instructor from one of the member countries who has made a significant contribution through their professional work.
For the 2025 competition, FEIF’s Education Committee wishes to highlight young professionals within the Icelandic horse community who act as positive and inspiring role models.
Therefore, nominees for Instructor of the Year:
- Should be 30 years of age or younger
- Be listed on FEIF’s register of instructors (i.e. meet continuing professional development requirements)
- Be actively working as an instructor and trainer
- Be a member of a FEIF member organization
The following trainers/instructors were nominated by their national associations (in alphabetical order):
- Frida Lindström (Sweden)
- Hekla Katharina Kristinsdóttir (Iceland)
- Katariina Koskela (Finland)
- Michelle Goedhart (Netherlands)
- Nicole Gerber (Switzerland)
- Pernille Wullf Harslund (Denmark)
The voting is closing Sunday, January 18th, 2026

The voting for the Trainer/Instructor of the Year for 2025 has ended. The results will be announced at the FEIF Conference, January 30-February 2 in Budapest, Hungary
