The 7th FEIF Young Leaders’ Event will take place this autumn near Billund, Denmark, under the theme “Fighting Fit – Conflict, Fitness & Teamwork in Action.” Aimed at young adults aged 18–26, this dynamic seminar is jointly organized by FEIF and the Danish Icelandic Horse Association (DI).

Designed to inspire the next generation of leaders in the Icelandic horse world, the weekend will focus on leadership development, self-growth, and deeper engagement with the horse industry. Participants will explore themes of conflict management, teamwork, and physical fitness through hands-on workshops and engaging lectures.

Key speakers include physiotherapist Rebekka Hyldgaard, who will share how rider fitness can improve equestrian performance, and Professor Janne Winther Christensen from Aarhus University, who will present insights into animal conflict behaviour based on her latest research.

The programme also features team-building activities, discussions on voluntary work, a horse-related field trip, and a surprise session with an exciting guest speaker.

Applications and payments are due by October 15, 2025. Don’t miss this unique opportunity to grow as a leader and connect with peers from across the international Icelandic horse community.
