The European Horse Network (EHN) published a newsletter with an overview of current and future activities. Recently, 3 meetings took place in Brussel, including one in the European Parliament with members of the Parliament. This meeting was openend by EU President Ms. Ursula von der Leyen. She reaffirmed her support for the professionals of the horse industry. Their needs will be taken into account in the legislative proposal to be published in the autumn. Other interesting items were about the need of horse sport at the Olympic Games in Paris 2024 for all parties in the horse industry, and a preliminary report about the future of the horse industry and the lack of young professionals.
