As the FEIF YouthCup 2022 had to be cancelled, the Dutch youth committtee organised a nice alternative – the Youth Master. Between the 28th and 31st of July the event took place in Wortel, Belgium at the beautiful stud of Frans Goetschalckx. The idea was to offer young people from Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands the opportunity for international exchange and educational days.
During the first two days, the 27 youngsters had the opportunity to take part in a variety of lessons and to train their horses in a multitude of ways. Of course, as with the original FEIF YouthCup, the country evening with delicacies from every country, some games and nice get-togethers were not missing.
On Saturday, as well as on Sunday morning, the youngsters were able to present their horses during a tournament. However, the youngsters did not only start for themselves but also in one discipline for their international team. The Feather Prize was given to the rider with the most beautiful and harmonious riding in every discipline.
All in all it was a great and well-organized event where the youth work was once again successfully challenged.
