Get out pencils or brushes: IPZV is now declaring a fight on the boredom in times of Corona. No matter whether home office, school or kindergarten free: we have come up with an action of course with reference to our beloved Icelandic horse and/or his home country Iceland.
We start with a big painting competition for the whole family. The submitted pictures, divided into the classes children (up to 10 years), teenagers (up to 18 years) and adults (from 18 years), will be selected by an expert jury and printed in the popular Trail Rider Calendar 2021.
The rules of the Trail Riding Calendar Art Competition are very simple: Anyone can participate, any artistic technique and anything to do with the Icelandic horse and its home country is allowed. However, one thing is very important: The pictures should be in landscape format so that they can later be used for the calendar. Deadline for entries is July 30th, 2020, after which a jury will start their work, select the 12 most beautiful motives and present them in advance on www.ipzv.de and in the social media of the association. All participants will be drawn to win 100 of the finished calendars for 2021. The remaining calendars can be ridden/won – as every year – on the trail rides.
The pictures should be scanned with high resolution and sent to geschaeftsstelle@ipzv.de. Name and age of the artist, title of the artwork, as well as the artist’s own postal address and an e-mail address should not be forgotten so that the picture can be assigned to the respective competition participant and, if necessary, a finished calendar can be sent on its way afterwards. Please keep the originals for the final selection!
