The deadline for submitting national reports is 15th January and the award is given annually to the national association that has been unusually active, innovative and support of youth work at national and at regional level. Introducing children to the world of the Icelandic horse is not just – good for business – but can make a real difference in the life of an individual. Keeping teenagers interested in leading an active life around horses, with growing responsibilities and skills will contribute to a wholesome development of future young adults. And yes, youthwork is also important in ensuring our beloved horse sport. A nation that puts a lot of effort into this deserves to be recognized for the work done. The prize for winning the award includes an extra place for the upcoming FEIF YouthCup 2020.
