The combined meeting of the sport committee and the sport judge committee had a long agenda with a broad variety of topics. In one and a half day a lot of different topics passed. The participants talked among others about improving equipment checks, execution of existing tests, the introduction of a new pace test, roles and responsibilities of officials, how to deal with sponsoring, use of protective materials and several equipment topics as earplugs, nose nets, bits and alternative shoeing in combination with soles. Also discussed was how to deal with the loss of a shoe during the performance. It was a constructive Meeting and many of the topics will result in proposals for the annual department meeting end of January 2020.
