The breeding committee and the breeding judges committee used the opportunity of this work meeting to prepare the proposals for the Delegates’ Assembly 2020 and the Annual Meetings 2020 that will take part in Iceland in 2020. The details on the revision of the weight on the traits in the total score for breeding horses and at the same time the revision of the breeding goals and the judging scale with more emphasis on suppleness and quality in different speed ranges were prepared for the presentation and changes next year. The evaluation of the breeding show at the World Championships and possible consequences thereof to make the breeding presentations at the next World Championships more interesting resulted in a lively discussion. The breeding judges committee worked on the possibilities how to continue with the young horse assessment system in future and will prepare this topic among others for the breeding leader meeting.
