The Open Breeders’ Seminar will be organised during the biggest European fair for horse riding, hunting, fishing and nature ‘Horse and Hunting’ in Hannover. The seminar shall strengthen the international cooperation and promote breeding through an open exchange in the FEIF breeding sector. Furthermore the flow of information between breeders, riders and owners shall be improved. During the seminar presentations on the innovations in the breeding sector (Þorvaldur Kristjánsson) and on tendon and ligament injuries (Matthias Rettig) in Icelandic horse are planned as well as discussions on current breeding developments.
