FEIF Award for Susanne Fröhlich

August 15 2019 | General

The board of FEIF has decided to honor a very special person, by granting the FEIF award to Susanne Fröhlich, during the presentation of the book 50 years of FEIF.
Susanne Fröhlich has been a long standing member of our community. She started riding on Icelandic horses in Weistrach in 1976 and bought her first horse around 1983 and did her trainer B certification at Reitschule Berger, in Berlar, Germany. While taking care of her family and children she remained active as the secretary of the Austrian association. In 2003 the FEIF board decided to get professional support and turned to Susanne. The arrangement in the beginning was that she should work only 3 hours a week for FEIF in the FEIF Office!
Ever since then Susanne has been the backbone of FEIF taking care of more or less all matters that need to be organised. She has also taken care of the FEIF Office at the World Championships for years and years, and the board is sure a better person for that work cannot be found.
In her work she is able to deal with different characters, and different opinions and she is the expert in uniting people in their passion for the Icelandic horse.
It is therefore with our sincere thanks and best wishes that the board awards Susanne Fröhlich with the FEIF Award.
Thank you Susanne and hopefully we will continue to have you around for our organisation handing all our affairs in the FEIF Office.
