On Sunday, August 4, 2019 80 riders and their horses rode from the Victory Column at the Brandenburg Gate to the stadium of the Icelandic Horses World Championship grounds in Karlshorst.
On their ride through the city of Berlin they were accompanied again and again by the astonished audience, the highlight of the day was then the entrance into the very well filled world championship stadium during the opening ceremony of the World Championships for Icelandic horses. The audience welcomed the relay riders with a strong applause.
