Only a few more days to go until the start of the World Championships 2019, however: the stables are ready, the horse boxes are littered with wood shavings and soon there will be a name tag on every box door. The first horses – coming directly from Iceland – are expected to arrive tonight after a long journey. All other teams with horses from the continent will arrive from Thursday, August 1 – Saturday, August 3, 2019. The grandstands already have their roofs; the white fences along the tournament oval track and the pace track are mounted and the special entrance through the Brandenburg Gate has been tested. And everywhere you can see busy volunteers working tirelessly to finish everything by Sunday, when the first visitors enter the area. Thank you!
