Preparations for the camp are in full swing and 31 young people, aged between 14-17, from 10 member countries, including New Zealand, will travel to the South of Iceland on July 7th for a week of horsey fun, trips farm visits and most importantly – for getting to know each other across national, cultural and language borders. Some of them have been fundraising for this trip for months on end, and everyone is much looking forward: anticipation is high. The camp will take place at Hestheimar, literally ‘world of horses’, within full view of Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull. Once the camp is running, keep in eye out for news on Facebook and Instagram.
