The award of FEIF Youth Country of the year 2018 went to the Netherlands. The newly formed and very energetic committee initiates a lot of activities ranging from boys only events, horse-based activities, focusing on general riding skills and competition training, as well as non horse-based events, including aspects of rider fitness and mental coaching. There are good signs that the excellent work, which started in 2018, will go from strength to strength this year, culminating in a FEIF Young Leader event hosted by the Netherlands in November 2019.
