The 3rd Young Leaders’ Seminar took place under the sun-lit and balmy skies of Southern Iceland. Under the inspired guidance of Anna Steinsen and Karen Woodrow, 23 participants came together to learn about and develop communication and leadership skill. The programme consisted of a mixture of lectures, icebreaker and other social games and role-play exercises, and it is amazing how much each participant can learn about themselves and others in just two days. The seminar included a visit to the breeding farm Grænholt, and the smell and touch of real horses was greated wth some relief after intense concentration of the class room. The icing of the cake is always the opportunity to make new friend, and to strenghten the bonds between young people from different countries and cultures. A warm thank you to the speakers, hosts and organisers for a most memorable weekend.
