The km totals for June have just been published! Please note that this month they are sorted by the highest number of km individual riders have ridden. Together our top three riders have completed 6948 km in the saddle since August last year. Congratulations, what an achievement!
If we add all the ridden distances together, there are 22,000 “spare” team km (that is individuals and teams having made the distance from home to Oischot, and ridden on after that), but we still need 2580k m to bring the teams from AU, NZ and US ‘home’ to Oirschot. That is a completely achievable target until the WM starts in earnest on 7th August. What’s two and a half km between friends?
