It is not too late to join the FEIF virtual ride to the site of the next World Championships of the Icelandic horse. The idea is simple: if you live too far away, and cannot participate in the real relay ride to the Netherlands, why not join riders from 12 member countries who are on their virtual ride? How does it work? You ride out as usual, but at the same to you count your ridden kilometers until they add up all the way from wherever your home is, to the venue of the next WM. Once a month, you send in your mileage, and you will be amazed how far you can get either alone, or as part of a team. If you join the dedicated Facebook group, you will soon become a member of a lively and international Icelandic horse community – with lots of riders sharing pictures and adventures of their horses.
