The Board of FEIF regrets to announce the “Berlin” World Championships 2019 application must be rejected because IPZV, the German national association, has declined to endorse the application as required under the FEIF Rules and Regulations in effect in 2015.
There were no other applications submitted during the open application period which ended September 20, 2015. Therefore, the Board of FEIF again invites all interested parties to apply to organise the World Championships 2019. A document describing Rules and Requirements for Organisers (in addition to FEIF’s Rules and Regulations) is available from the FEIF website under Sport > Documents > Invitations. Any application must comply with these documents.
Applications must be sent in before July 10, 2016 to the Board of FEIF. However applicants may enter a preliminary application earlier to be advised about the feasibility of their application.
The FEIF World Championships Committee will review all applications and might ask for additional information to be provided before September 1, 2016. The procedure could include a visit of the FEIF World Championships Committee to proposed locations.
The final decision about the allocation of the World Championships 2019 will be taken by the Board of FEIF upon recommendation of the WCC before October 1, 2016.
