All participants of the FEIF youth meeting enjoyed a stimulating and creative set of meetings. The reports for the award ‘FEIF Youth Country of the Year 2015′ (won by Sweden – congratulations) and the oral reports from the countries, received during the meeting showed that a lot of high quality, innovative and inspiring work is being done by countless volunteers all over the world, and there was something new for everyone. The success of the Youth Video Competition was shared with all delegates at a plenary session. And possibly the most exciting outcome was the unanimous decision to expand the remit of FEIF Youth work to the age range 18-26. This will initially take the form of an autumn seminar held in Sweden under the general banner of leadership skills. We all hope that it will be possible to add a FEIF Young Leaders’ Event to our annual calendar. Watch this space.
