Sport Judges committee meeting 2015

October 30 2015 | Sport

The Sport Judges Committee got together for a productive two-day meeting in Malmö along with the other FEIF working committees. Members reviewed both the World Championships 2015 in particular and the World Ranking competition season in general. The committee identified a few aspects where WR competitions can improve in order to ensure fair and equal conditions for all riders, including the reporting system to FEIF and the working hours for judges .
The SJC also discussed the recent Sport Judges’ Exam and was pleased by the number of successful candidates as well as the improved overall workflow. Iceland indicated interest to organize the next exam; possible venues and dates are currently being checked. The seminar for FEIF Sport Judges will take place in Sweden in March; judges and trainers will meet for a joint seminar mainly focussing on Tölt in Harmony.
The constant training of judges was another important topic of the meeting: The SJC opted to put more emphasis on Pacetest PP1. Joint sessions with the Sport Committee and the Education Committee were used to discuss possible ways of catering competitions more to the needs of riders beginning their tournament career, among several other topics.
