During the committee meeting weekend in Malmö 2016 substantial progress was made in relation to the test of the ideal leisure horse. Ideas were tested live on two horses, who patiently agreed to the fun. Great thanks to Lena Brandsten from Helgagården, who kindly allowed us to use her premises and one of her horses and to Desiree, who showed us both her own competition horse and this young mare Alfadis. The exercise showed how important it is to test thing in real life and the conclusion is, that there will be a good, long period for ‘testing the test’ before going ahead with a standardized model. This will include involvement of both the Breeding Committee and the Education Committee as well.
