The FEIF virtual ride ‘From here to Herning’ came to an end at the same time as the opening ceremony of the World Championships on Wed 5th Aug. Together the ca 150 riders from all over the world, including the US, Canada and New Zealand rode an incredible 64,382 km. That is (roughy speaking) all the way around the globe plus the distance from NZ to Herning! Some of the riders also had the opportunity to meet face to face in a joyful reception in Herning. New friendships that were formed, and all participants got a real feeling of how big the Icelandic horseworld really is.
