New world record in Pace Race 250 m

The Danish rider Søren Madsen with Hárekur frá Hákoti [IS2002186434] broke the world record in Pace Race 250 m (P1) during the World Championships 2015 in Herning. On the fast track they did set the new record at 21.49″. This is 0.10″ seconds faster than the old record, set by Markus Albrecht Schoch with Kóngur frá Lækjamóti [IS2002155124], at the German Championships 2014 in Wehrheim.
A few moments later the same time was reached by Guðmundur Einarsson with Sproti frá Sjávarbog [IS199715724], the new World Champion in this discipline. In total four riders had a time close to this record time.
