Wednesday was a very ” up and down” day. The heat is rising, so the group started early with a ride high up onto the mountain behind the farm. The views are amazing, and the hillside is so steep that from a lovely picnic spot one cannot see the village immediately below. But not only are the heights beautiful, the inside of the mountains contains rich silver, lead and zinc ore. In the afternoon the participants visited a mining museum and were driven 1.3 km into a mine, right under the very mountain they had been riding on in the morning. It was awe-inspiring to take a glimpse into a completely different word of complete darkness, danger and incredible riches. The evening was spent practicing and perfecting circus skills. Only 2 more days until the performance!
