Several sources report about a doping case in the Icelandic Horse world.
FEIF has been informed about the positive outcome of a doping test of an Austrian sport rider, which means that a prohibited substance has been discovered. Our Austrian member association ÖIV has handed the case – following Austrian rules – to the Austrian Anti-Doping Agency NADA. NADA is expected to handle the case on short notice. FEIF will be informed through ÖIV about any decision taken by NADA. Based upon FIPO 3.2 measures taken will be valid for all FEIF member countries.
FEIF will of course keep the member associations and the Icelandic Horse world informed about this case.
