10 Years after the first conference about software for sport competitions FEIF will organise a second conference about competition software for interested persons. The first conference in 2001 did bring us (free) IceTest and some other tools, like the FIPOTimer. The aim of the conference is to bring people together to discuss platforms, data models, functions, procedures, services and other items connected to competition software. We expect the participants also to be involved in further development.
The conference will take place in Düsseldorf (D), in the weekend of November 12-13, 2011, and is open for all interested persons active in organising sport competitions and developing software. Participation is free. The organisers are Lutz Lesener and Marko Mazeland. To see how many persons are interested, we would welcome preliminary (non-binding) registration by e-mail to sport@feif.org before June 1, 2011. Final registration will be possible until October 1, 2011.
