Procedure to appoint judges for World Championships started

15 Judges will be appointed to judge the World Championships 2011, in addition to chief judge Einar Ragnarsson and deputy chief judge Eva Petersen. All judges must have been FEIF licensed international sport judges for a period of at least one year prior to their appointment. They also must have judged at least five FEIF WorldRanking events in the period of one year prior to their appointment. Every FEIF member country, intending to participate in the World Championships has the right to appoint directly one judge, fulfilling the above-mentioned requirements, before October 15, 2010.
When less then 15 judges are appointed by the Member Countries the period between October 15 and October 31 will be used to invite the other judges to indicate if they are willing to accept to be appointed as a judge at the World Championships 2011. The committee appointing the judges will do so in the weekend of November 6 and 7, 2010. Judging activities at World Championships are done in an honorary capacity.
