Horses and vulcanos

April 20 2010 | General

So far no people or horses are affected because of the eruptions at Eyjafjallajökull. FEIF did receive many questions from the Icelandic horse community. Guðlaugur Antonsson, the breeding leader of Iceland, informed us April 18 that all horses are stabled or moved away from the area where most of the ash is falling. But of course the wind can change and then the ash will start to fall in other areas, which is a situation nobody can predict.
