FEIF Breeding Committee Meeting 2009

At the joint breeding committee and breeding judges committee meeting in Haarlem, NL, the past breeding year was shortly reviewed, including the great World Championships 2009. The new time schedule proofed to be perfect for the breeding shows and never before had so many very good horses been presented to an interested public.

In March 2010, there will be a breeding judges’ seminar in Hvanneyri, Iceland, with the purpose of updating the knowledge and to filling the demands to keep the breeding judges licenses.

The next FEIF breeding judges’ examination could take place in spring 2011. Therefore, it is necessary that the national breeding committees forward their request for new judges until summer 2010 the latest.

For the annual breeding meeting 2010 the entering of the results of foal shows in WF in a special section will be prepared for discussion. This would allow using the data for further interesting research.

Various proposals that were proposed by member countries and had been discussed in the Annual breeding leaders meeting were prepared in more detailed to be sent as proposals to the Delegates’ Assembly 2010.
