A clean horse sport

September 30 2009 | Sport

Once more, sport with Icelandic horses has shown to be a clean horse sport. All 20 doping tests taken at the World Championships 2009 in Brunnadern (CH) proved to be negative, which means: no doping. In total around 160 horses participated. The procedures followed were exactly the same as for other international horse events (like Olympic games). Horse sport has been negative in the news recently due to the high number of doping scandals, but once more our horses have shown to be able to perform without doping.
