The preparations for the Mid European Championships 2008 are on their way. The Mid-European Championships are the bi-annual sport compettion between Austria, Belgium, France, Germany, Great Britain, Italy, Luxemburg, the Netherlands, Slovenia and Switzerland. It is a FEIF Event. Each country involved is allowed to send up to 40 participants . Besides individual titles, the winning national team will also be awarded. The Championships will take place once more in Terento (I), at the Wiedenhof (Jacqueline and Ewald Schmid), at 1300 m above sea level. Terento is about 80 km from Innsbruck.
In 2006, the World Record in Speed Pass 100 m P2 was broken by six riders. Of course fast times and high marks are expected again.
