Visitors from New Zealand at the World Championships in the Netherlands

August 7 2007 | General

Christel and Richard Vinbrux came to New Zealand in 1998 with four mares and a young stallion. Today they are one of the founders of a National Association and next year New Zealand will apply for membership in FEIF.
There was an interesting introduction at the FEIF Conference in Glasgow of how the breeding of Icelandic horses started in New Zealand and now they are already in contact with WorldFengur to have their horses registered.
The association has 20 members at the moment and there are about 60 horses in New Zealand.
