125 Events have been registered as WorldRanking Event for this year, an absolute record. In the past few years up to 100 events were registered. Germany leads with 42 events. Iceland follows with 17 events, then Sweden with 16 events, Denmark with 14, Austria with 9, Switzerland with 8, the Netherlands with 7 (plus World Championships), Norway with 6, Finland with 5 and Slovenia with 1, the Alpe-Adria Cup. Many WorldRanking Events are also used to select the national teams for the World Championships. May will be the busiest month, with 9 events in the weekend of May 17-20 and 9 events in the weekend of May 26-28.
