Germany Joins FIPO Family

October 10 2005 | Sport

IPZV, the German member association of FEIF, decided to replace the national sport rules by international FIPO rules as of January 1, 2006. The same occurred one year ago in Iceland. The German IPO and the international FIPO did get closer over the past few years, especially after recent changes in rules about bits and shoes.
FEIF wants to congratulate the German Sport Leader Florian Schneider and the German Sport Committee with this big step forward to come to one set of sport rules all over the world.
Specific German rules for age classes, specific education and legal matters not covered by FIPO will stay in a seperate German rule book.
