New World Record in SpeedPass 100 m

On August 5, 2005, Anna Skúlason with the mare Brynja frá Glæsebæ established a new world record in SpeedPass 100 m with a time of 7.35″, during the World Championships 2005.
Ten minutes before, the Young Rider Sigurður Straumfjörð Pálsson with Prins frá Syðra-Skörðugili did already break the old world record with a time of 7.36″. This is the shortest registered World Record ever.
Both records were registered with electronic equipment.
The four year old record of 7.4″ was by Magnus Lindquist with Thor från Kalvsvik (dated 30-04-2001).
