Mid European Championships

February 19 2005 | Sport

At a meeting of Mid European Sport Leaders in Copenhagen (February 12) it was decided to give the Mid European Championships a more formal status. Until now, the event was organised as a private event. Starting 2006, it will be a bi-annual event, preferribly in the last weekend of August. It will be a championship between participants of Great Britain, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy and Slovenia.
Participants will be entered by their national association, in Sport A or Sport B or the Youth class. The best results per country will count to determine the winning country.
The next Mid European Championships will take place in Terento, Italy, August 25-27, 2006.
