Two new rankings are introduced in 2004 to celebrate the 10th season of the FEIF WorldRanking: the Four Gait Combination and the Five Gait Combination. The Four Gait Combination is based upon the results in Four Gait V1 and the best of Tölt T1 or Tölt T2. The Five Gait Combination is based upon the results in Five Gait F1 and the best of Tölt T1 or Tölt T2 and the best of Pace Race P1 or P3, SpeedPass P2 or Pace Test PP1.
Two special prizes are awarded on October 15: one for the best rider in Four Gait Combination and one for the rider in Five Gait combination.
The prize for the best rider in Five Gait Combination is for Johan Häggberg from Sweden, with a total score of 7.588. Johan has won the prize sponsored by Agria Djurförsäkring, an amount of EUR 500. Johan is also World Champion in this combination. The second position is for Svein Ragnarsson, the third for Nicole Kempf.
The prize for the best rider in Four Gait Combination is for Jóhann R. Skúlason with a total score of 7.940. He has won the prize sponsored by Icelandair: a free ticket between Reykjavík and any destination of Icelandair. The second position is for Jolly Schrenk, the third for current World Champion Stian Pedersen.
