The members of the Sport Committee and Sport Judges Committee elected Hörður Hákonarsson as Chief Judge for the World Championships 2005 in Sweden and André Böhme as Deputy Chief Judge. Due to the early election both Hörður and André can be involved in the preparations of the World Championships.
The election took place in the first week of September. It was the first time the members of both committees elected the Chief Judge and Deputy Chief Judge, after a change of FIPO in 2003.
